Day 1 - Airport - chilaw
Arrive on EK 650 at 08.25 hrs. Meet and greet by Adventures Ceylon Rep on Arrival. You will be introduced to your Chauffer / Guide by the Rep and transfer to your Hotel.
Arrive in Chilaw and check in to the hotel.
Afternoon at leisure.

Day 2 - Chilaw – Kurunegala - Digana
After breakfast proceed to Dambulla via Kurunegala.
Ridee Vihara, which translates into the Silver temple, is a site of historical as well as religious significance. The temple was built in gratitude and was named after the silver ore that was discovered in the temple grounds during 2nd century BC.
Arrive at Hotel. Evening at leisure.Late evening join with a local family to exprince traditional Sri Lankan cooking lesson.

Day 3 - Digana – Knuckelsrange - digana
After Breakfast this morning enjoy the trek at Knuckles Mountain Range.
Just an hour’s drive from Kandy is the UNESCO world heritage site Knuckles Mountain range, one of the unpopulated escapes in the elevated grounds of Sri Lanka. Named after its shape of a clenched fist, the Knuckles Mountain range is a perfect hoard of the rich history, culture and ecology hidden within this island nation. The misty mountain tops complete with crystal clear waterways and exotic fauna and flora is a haven for both nature and history enthusiasts.

Spreading over the districts of Matale and Kandy, located in close proximity to the ancient village of Meemure and Corbet’s Gap, the unique geographical setting of hilly trails that fall across the panoramic views of scenic tea estates, paddy fields, waterfalls and vibrant Kandyan home gardens are ideal locations for camping, trekking or cycling.

The history/culture buffs also have the wonderful opportunity to visit the isolated villages of an indigenous community in the mountains and obtain insights into their simple lifestyles that have remained well-preserved over the years.

Day 4 - Digana – nuwara eliya

After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya.
Dubbed the ‘Little England of Sri Lanka’, Nuwara Eliya is located in the thick, misty hills of this paradise isle, 180 km away from Colombo.

The summer resort of Sri Lanka, it is one of the few areas where the colonial atmosphere is preserved, still resembling a British countryside complete with rose gardens, hedges and red-roofed bungalows. Although the town-centre has receded from its old-world charm, the lush tea-plantations, the racecourse, the English country house–styled Hill Club and the beautifully kept golf course instantaneously rushes its visitors back to the colonial times.

Day 5 - nuwara eliya – horton plain - ella

Early morning stretch your legs for a walk in Horton Plains National Park.
The Horton Plains form an undulating plateau over 2000 meters high, which consists mainly of grasslands interspersed with patches of forest, with some unusual high-altitude vegetation. The plains are more often than not, visible only before 10.00am due to the heavy mist, which engulfs the area.

On completion leave for Ella by train.
Ella, which translates into ‘waterfall’ is a name fit for this little town located in a hilly nook, owing to its stunning vistas richly adorned with cascades that trickle down its rugged terrains offers some of the most scenic sights in Sri Lanka.

Day 6 - ELLA - UDAWALAWE

After breakfast, this morning we proceed to do a trek at the Little Adams Peak.

The Little Adam`s Peak got it`s named after it`s big brother, the holy mountain Adam`s Peak, because of the similar shape. Adam`s Peak is further west in Sri Lanka, close to Nuwara Eliya, and is 2243 m high and a much more challenging climb.

It is 1141 m in height. Little Adam’s Peak attracts many travelers who come to Sri Lanka. Gradually with an easy hike up to the mountain of Little Adams Peak you can consummation a worth panoramic view. You have to walk through lush green tea plantations, waterfalls and paddy fields while enjoying the sceneries.

Upon completion you will travel to Udawalawe and visit the Udawalawe National park.

Home to scenic landscapes and rare wildlife that rival the savannah reserves of Africa, the Udawalawe National Park is a treasure of this emerald isle.

Nourished by the Udawalawe reservoir, the park is located between the Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces, stretching over 30,000 hectares. It is most popular for elephant sightings as the verdure shelters close to 500 elephants. The riches within the park do not end there; flocks of sambar deer, wild buffaloes, bandicoots, foxes, water-monitor lizards, crocodiles, sloth bears, the occasional leopards and a wealth of reptiles and birds can also be observed in their natural habitats.

Day 7 - UDAWALAWE – GALLE - BERUWELA

After Breakfast, leave for Beruwela via Galle.

Galle, a living time capsule home to the largest occupied Fort in Asia. Its quaint beauty extends beyond its golden beaches, cerulean waters, the picturesque views and the rich history while walking through the narrow, cobbled streets within the Fort.

Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, in the south, established in 1981, was one of the earliest attempts to safeguard local turtles from extinction. Managed by the Sri Lanka Wildlife Protection Society, the hatchery offers a wildlife experience of a different sort.

Day 8 - BERUWELA

After Breakfast Pick up leave for Bentota village Tour by a bicycle.

Cycling in Bentota is the best land-based activity as Bentota is positioned as the city of water sports in the Southern Coast. Get into a bike is the best way to explore the Countryside of Bentota.

Get away from the busy city and explore the typical south coast, countryside and get exciting experiences in your trip to Sri Lanka. Explore the countryside of Sri Lanka… cultures, customs, people’s living styles, and the languages which are different from province to province.

You will cycle to Bentota countryside through paddy fields, en-route visit to the ‘Kanda Viharaya’ Buddhist temple, a fisherman village and other scenic places during the tour. The Total cycling distance would be 30 Km and 3 – 4 hours excursion.
